Blokes Barbershop & Gentleman's Emporium and The Trestle Inn are proudly participating in the Movember Foundation’s annual Movember campaign, which challenges men to grow a moustache, men and women to get active and take the Move Challenge, or host a fundraising event – all of which spark conversations and raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health.
Blokes Barbershop, located in Old City at 151 N 3rd Street, Philadelphia, will be hosting the “All About That Stache” opening event, on November 1st, between 5-9pm for those who want to start with a clean shave before growing their mustache for the rest of the month. Alongside the shaves, Blokes will have complimentary cocktails provided by the Trestle Inn Jameson Irish Whiskey, local handmade treats by Cake Life Bakeshop & Fezziwig's, and raffle prizes with chances to win tickets to local concert venues, gift cards to surrounding restaurants, and much more. This event is open to men and women; a $10 donation will be collected at the door for those who are not getting shaves. Each $10 donation comes with a raffle ticket and a chance to win one of the prizes. Please call Blokes at 267-314-5557 for an appointment. Stay tuned for details on the closing “Stache Bash” at The Trestle Inn (11th and Callowhill, Philadelphia) on November 29th.
The Movember Foundation is the only global charity focused solely on men’s health. Men and women can be the difference this Movember by donating or raising critical funds for men’s health. Men start November 1st clean-shaven and grow only a moustache for the month, or men and women can commit to get active and take the Move Challenge or host an event. Participants get friends, family, or colleagues to donate to their efforts to change the face of men’s health. Blokes Barbershop & Gentleman's Emporium will have a donation box at the front desk during the entire month of November and you can also donate through the “Blokes a Go-Go” team page listed below for the entirety of the month-long fundraiser.
The Movember community has raised over $769M and has funded more than 1,200 innovative men's health projects across 21 countries. This work is helping men live happier, healthier, and longer lives through investing in these critical areas: prostate cancer, testicular health, mental health and suicide prevention.
The Blokes Team and The Trestle Inn both believe in making small changes in a big way by helping to fund health programs directly through the Movember Foundation and other men’s health partners. To donate online please go to: https://moteam.co/blokes-a-go-go
