 About La Tasca Design

Founded in Philadelphia in 2017 by Brandi Levine, La Tasca Design creates limited edition bags and backpacks in beautiful fabrics, including fabrics designed by artists exclusively for the company. Handmade in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, La Tasca Design bags and backpacks are classic and quirky, elegant and sturdy, beautiful and fun.

Candy Coated Evening Bags

For 2017 La Tasca is proud to announce special limited editions of evening bags made from two fabrics designed and hand printed by artist Candy Coated (nee Depew). A glowing hot pink shantung silk is adorned with Candy's signature black diamonds and gold flowers. A glistening silver grey shantung silk is strewn with hearts and flowers in soft metallic copper and bronze.

Bags for Work & Play

La Tasca’s sophisticated fabrics bring a fun twist to every day and work bags, and lend a distinctive elegance to bags for evenings and special occasions. The bags are designed, proto-typed,  tested (sometimes over a period of years), and lovingly constructed with meticulous attention to detail.

All La Tasca bags and backpacks are very light weight and inter-lined with foam to protect your belongings. Work/travel bags are water-resistant, washable, and have interior computer pockets, interior and exterior phone pockets and key fobs. Evening bags are large enough to hold everything you need without for a special event, a night on the town, or holiday party, without weighing you down.
