Spend the morning in this hands on workshop with The Clay Studio Resident Artist Roberta Massuch-- as she shares the process behind the construction of her porcelain pottery. Utilizing a variety of handbuilding techniques (pinching, coiling, and slab building into bisque press molds) she creates architectural vessels— quiet, simple forms that are asking to be held, to be touched, and to be used.

Roberta Massuch lives and works in Philadelphia, PA—where she is a Resident Artist at The Clay Studio, Studio Technician and Faculty Instructor at the Community College of Philadelphia. She received her BFA from Northern Illinois University in 2005 and her MFA from Louisiana State University in May 2013.
