The Old City District RCO meets as needed to review zoning applications for projects proposed within our geographic boundaries. The April RCO meeting will occur on Wednesday, April 18th at 5:15pm, and will discuss two projects:
- 111 S Independence Mall E (The Bourse): For the creation of twenty-nine (29) spaces from thirty (30) tenant spaces all for use as a take-out restaurant in food court on 1st floor with all other uses as previously approved in an existing structure. The proposed use, take-out restaurant in twenty-nine (29) spaces, requires a special exception approval in the Old City Residential Area.
- 52 S 2nd Street (Royal Boucherie): For the legalization of an existing partial second story roof deck and for the extension of the existing basement through the second floor bar/restaurant use to include the aforementioned deck in the same building with existing vacant third and fourth floors remain (use registration permit required prior to occupancy). Expansion of bar/restaurant is a special exception in the Old City Residential Control District. Roof deck is for non-residential use and is a special exception in this zoning district.
