In recognition of DesignPhiladelphia’s10th anniversary, Old City District presents the Old City Fest—a celebration of art and design, fashion and food, creativity and culture on the streets of America’s most historic square mile. The Old City Fest will highlight the region’s premier art and design district while showcasing local designers, creative firms, restaurants, retailers, galleries, theater, culture, history, and architecture.
Participating vendors such as Smak Parlour, Franklin Fountain, Scout Vintage, Sassafras, Arch Enemy Arts, Panorama, and The Clay Studio will differentiate this festival from anything Philadelphia has seen before. Stop by Roche Bobois to meet American designer, Stephen Burks and don’t miss The Hamilton Wood Type live printing demonstrations, presented by AIGA Philadelphia and the Hamilton Wood Type Museum.
Old City Fest will also include a festival stage with live music, a design showcase room, pop-up theatrical performances, and a wide array of food, beverages and retail shopping. Whether you are interested in its historic past, its artistic present, or its tech-based future, Old City is the place!
