FRIEDA Salon: What about "Tomorrow" in Philadelphia?
Following the screening of "Tomorrow" (French: Demain) March 8+9 we would like to start a discussion about solutions to our environmental and social challenges in the twenty-first century, be it agriculture/food supply, energy, local economy, education and governance.
The host for this afternoon conversation will be announced soon.
Saturday March 10 from 3:00 - 4:30pm
As a friendly reminder, there is a standard $6 cover charge (applied to consumption) for this event. Attendees will have a wide range of baked goods, croissant sandwiches and much more to choose from with coffee and our large selection of teas.
In addition FRIEDA will run a special for the Salon, for $8:
Half a wrap (tarragon tuna, curry chicken, vegetarian/vegan) + Coffee or Tea + FRIEDA Cookie.
If you want to join please sign up by March 9 to confirm your attendance either via email firstname.lastname@example.org, or stop by FRIEDA, 320 Walnut Street.

(*Note that the cover charge goes towards food and drink consumption) This is your active support for the free programming that so many of you enjoy and for our Community Outreach. It also helps us create fair-wage jobs for people of all generations - many of whom are retired, but still needing to work to make ends meet.
Please be respectful, no outside food or drinks allowed.

This Salon is another beautiful example that shows what FRIEDA is about: a space for people to meet and create, to share time and skills.
