Join us at the Betsy Ross House 6-8 p.m. Friday evenings in October for Spooky Twilight Tours. Travel back to Philadelphia in the 1700s and learn about the city’s gruesome history of infection and inoculation. Hear true, macabre tales about bloodletting, small pox, yellow fever, and other gross experiences. Learn what it was like to live in the ghastly 18th century and discover why Philadelphia was an infectious place to be! Then, head into the House for a spooky, shadowy tour.
Tickets are $10 in advance or at the gate. Make a night of it and add Spooky Mini Golf at Franklin Square. Purchase a Spooky Twosome including admission to the Spooky Twilight Tour at the Betsy Ross House and a round of mini golf for $19 adults; $17 children. For tickets, visit historicphiladelphia.org
