First Friday at AAMP

Join the African American Museum in Philadelphia for First Friday on Friday, May 6th, 7-9 p.m. for a special celebration highlighting the recent opening of three exhibitions: Derrick Adams’ “Sanctuary,” which draws its inspiration from the Negro Motorist Green Book; “Taking Care,” a series of curated works from our permanent collection focusing on Black conservatorship, and in the auditorium, “Black Citizenship in the Age of Jim Crow.” There will be an open wine bar, music, networking, and a few treats throughout the night provided by Brown’s Catering.

First Friday at AAMP is a 21+ event. Proof of vaccination is required for entry.
