May Day First Friday Flower Bar & Crown, Brooch, Fascinator workshop

Artist and educator Jamie Campbell is hosting a May Day Flower Bar & Crown, Brooch, Fascinator workshop on Friday, May 1, at the Cherry Street Pier in Philadelphia. Located in Studio 16, this event features creating handmade fashion accessories using recycled textiles and jewelry, guided by Campbell. 

* Event Details: The workshop runs from 5 pm to 7 pm.
* Workshop Focus: Participants can design and make silk flowers, crowns, and brooches.
* Background: Jamie Campbell is known for creating large-scale sculptures and installations.

Special guest teaching artist Jamie Campbell will demonstrate and guide participants through original construction using recycled textiles, beading, and deconstructed jewely. Jamie created large scale sculptures and instablation work in the gallery at Cherry Street Pier during Phantastic Phibers. She has taught several workshops in Studio 16 including creating bats, light up jellyfish, felting fairiies,, and Delaware River Monsters. She exhibited a participatory installation in "Weaving on the Waterfront" in 2025 on the Terrace Gallery on Cherry Street Pier.
