Victorian Hard Candy Workshop

Learn the lost art of making hard candy drops, on our antique Victorian candy drop roller with Senior Pastry Assistants Rose Kyler and Rachel Gottfried.

Guests will enjoy a lecture on the shared history of medicine and candy, and sample candy flavors from bygone eras. Then everyone will have an opportunity to assist in making our two best selling candy “cough” drops – Elderflower and Switchel (spicy apple cider & ginger). Guests will then take home a portion of the candy made, as well as recipes to make hard candy at home.
