Beer on the Pier

Start October right with Beer on the Pier! Fifteen local breweries are coming together in one of the city’s prettiest spots to help Caring People Alliance celebrate its 90th year of reducing poverty and fighting injustice, Saturday, October 1, from 1-5 p.m. at Cherry Street Pier, 121 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd. Tickets are available to the public for $50 and will include a logo beer stein, unlimited tastings from all of the breweries and live music. Locally inspired nosh will be available from The Garden at Cherry Street Pier.

Caring People Alliance operates Boys & Girls Clubs in three of the city’s most impoverished neighborhoods—North, West and South Philly—and offers programming for toddlers through seniors. 100% of the ticket price will support the Boys & Girls Clubs.
