Call for Artists: Born on the Bicentennial

Call for Artists for inclusion in “Born on the Bicentennial,” a juried art exhibit at Cherry Street Pier featuring Philadelphia artists born in 1976, with submissions due by March 31, 2026.

The "Born on the Bicentennial" exhibition at Cherry Street Pier is curated by Bonnie MacAllister and highlights local Philadelphia artists born during the 1976 celebration year. The exhibition will open First Friday in August 2026. MacAllister is a fourth year resident artist exhibiting and teaching in Studio 16 at Cherry Street Pier.

Interested artists should submit website or 5 work samples to [email protected].

Drop in during studio hours on March 6 5-7 on First Friday to ask questions or participate in a free needle punch workshop and demonstration.
