Deirdre will be at the Center to discuss her groundbreaking new book, Joinery, Joists, and Gender: A History of Woodworking for the 21st Century. Deirdre will host an open discussion and sign books, while sharing her wide-ranging experiences and works, including the development of the Center for Art in Wood exhibition Making a Seat at the Table: Women Transform Woodworking (2019).
