DJ Hong Kwon's Highball Crisis

We're pleased to announce a new residency from one of our favorite DJs and dear friends, DJ Hong Kwon. On the second Sunday of each month, Hong will be in the house with an eclectic mix of straight ahead jazz, Latin jazz, jazzy funk, city pop, fusion jazz, boogaloo, a bit of Brazilian music, and more!

DJ Hong Kwon is a Philadelphia-based DJ and record collector with a passion for international and jazz-inflected sounds, primarily focused on Latin (salsa, boogaloo, Afro-Cuban jazz) and Japanese (city pop, boogie, AOR). His DJ career began 15 years ago in San Francisco with residencies at El Valenciano and Cafe Cocomo, as well as national and worldwide appearances in LA, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, Boston, NYC, Barcelona, Mexico City, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, and Sapporo.
