Kick Off World Vegan Month At the American Vegan Center!

At this free-to-the-public party, local entertainers will use poetry, song and other media to regale with stories of the “founding father” of U.S. veganism on the 90th anniversary of his birth. Commemorating World Vegan Month, Dynamic Harmlessness Day, and Jay Dinshah himself, we will groove to the oldies Jay spun as a DJ in the 1950s! And tastiest of all, guests will enjoy samples of Jay’s Banana Split ice cream, a brand-new flavor in Jay’s honor by Scoop DeVille, plus birthday cake from LUHV Food. The public is invited to stop by anytime for a bite, a laugh, and a dance!
