Practicing The Four Immeasurables

In our prayers, we make the following requests:
“May everyone be happy,
May everyone be free from misery,
May no one ever be separated from their happiness,
May everyone have equanimity, free from hatred and attachment.”
In this series, we’ll learn the Four Immeasurables practice for enhancing our bodhichitta motivation.

Classes take place on Tuesdays at 7:00-8:00pm.
$15 per class.

May 7: Developing immeasurable equanimity
May 14: Developing immeasurable love 
May 21: Developing immeasurable compassion
May 28: The aspirational mind of bodhichitta

Classes are taught by Resident Teacher Sarah Frew. Sarah is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Philadelphia. She is a long-time student and practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and has engaged in extensive Dharma study and retreat. Sarah participated in the Intensive Teacher Training Program at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, a special course designed by Venerable Geshe-la to provide six months of intensive training for those wishing to become qualified Resident Teachers at Kadampa Buddhist centers around the world. Through her joyful and engaging manner, she shares Buddha’s teachings in a kind-hearted and warm way that makes them accessible to everyone.
