Scene Study - One Day Masterclass for Grades 9-12

In this collaborative class, students will learn the techniques to take a scene from the page to the stage. Through script analysis and partner exercises, students will discover how to use objectives, tactics, and beats to bring energy to a scene. Students will work together on classic and contemporary scripts as they explore dynamic staging choices.

Students will:

- Use script analysis to determine character relationships, objectives, and beats
- Practice using tactics and obstacles to add tension to a scene
- Strengthen collaboration skills
