Ministry of Awe

Ministry of Awe is a six-story immersive art experience housed within a reawakened 19th-century bank in Philadelphia’s Old City. In this former financial institution—now a bank with no money—the only currency is human experience: curiosity, imagination, connection, and awe. The space poses a central question to every visitor: What do we actually value?

Neither a museum nor a static exhibition, Ministry of Awe is an ever-evolving work of art designed to transform over time. The experience blends monumental installations, live performance, evocative soundscapes, AI-powered environments, handcrafted works, and intimate interactive moments into a nonlinear journey that unfolds across floors and rooms. Visitors are invited to explore at their own pace, choosing how deeply to engage and which paths to follow, making each visit uniquely personal.
