Bump in the Night, Co-Curated by Ginger Rudolph & Sam Heimer

Paradigm Gallery + Studio is pleased to present, A Bump in the Night, a group exhibition co-curated by writer/curator Ginger Rudolph and illustrator Sam Heimer. Rudolph and Heimer bring together over 21 artists to consider the fantastical and the incomprehensible in a blowout display.

From the curators:

"A Bump in the Night is about everything that exists just beyond certainty—the folklore we inherit, the stories we tell ourselves, the things we can't quite explain, magic, mystery, humor, memory, superstition, dreams, and all the strange little moments that make life feel wonderfully unpredictable. Whether your inspiration comes from local legends, personal mythology, ghost stories, odd coincidences, rituals, monsters, liminal spaces, or even the playful side of the eerie, we hope the exhibition leaves plenty of room for interpretation and invites each artist to approach the theme in their own unique way."

Bump in the Night will be on view at Paradigm Gallery + Studio from October 2 through November 1, 2026, with a public opening reception on Friday, October 2, during Old City’s First Fridays.
