Craft Coven Convention

The Craft Coven Launches their Craft Convention alongside Fleisher Art Memorial on October 19th, 2025. Guests ages 16+up can enjoy a day of creative workshops, spooky photo ops and tasty eats from 12-5pm in the heart of South Philadelphia.

Cassie’s Craft Coven is launching the first ever Craft Convention takeover of the 127 year old community arts center: Fleisher Art Memorial. Included in every ticket are Make and Takes to build your own wall hanging altar, learn to wire wrap crystals, and try your hand at pulling your own custom letterpress print. Spirits will convene in the secular sanctuary of Fleisher and fill its classrooms with artist talks, demonstrations, and an all day movie marathon playing only the classics. Sponsored by well known maker shop Art Star, this all day creative event boasts learning experiences like crafting your own chain mail keychain, weaving a witches hand broom, and creating spooky photo effects in the digital photography lab. These upgraded workshops are well suited for beginners and seasoned makers alike. Dress in your finest witchy or warlock garb and you’ll find photo opportunities around the marketplace; Or treat yourself to a tin type photography session to capture your fit for eternity using a 19th-century photographic process: wet plate collodion.

‘We're thrilled to be launching our first ever craft convention,’ says Cassie Jones, Founder of The Craft Coven ‘It's the event I’ve always wanted to attend as a local creative, so I figured why not put it together myself’
Tickets for The Craft Coven Convention are available on Eventbrite. And more info about workshops for the day can be found on The Convention’s Site. Visitors are encouraged to follow The Craft Coven Instagram for updates and announcements.
