First Friday in Old City is calling! Stop by in between gallery hopping and settle into a night where history, flavor, and sound come together. Enjoy bites by Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar in the outdoor courtyard, featuring Tres Leches Cake and Chicken Empanadas with aji-amarillo sauce accompanied by “Sounds by Mac Wondo”, a Wilmington, Delaware-based DJ known for crafting immersive, genre-blending music rooted in R&B, soulful house, jazz, deep grooves, and beyond.
Then, make your way down to Newton’s Cellar, the speakeasy lounge, where cocktails by Dad’s Hat Rye Whiskey keep the night flowing. The cocktail menu consists of:
Old Fashioned: classic rye, cherry, orange, Angostura & Peychaud's bitters
Peach Weekend Warrior: classic rye, peach, honey, lemon, sweet tea, and mint.
White Thai Affair: chili oil washed white rye, mango shrub, lime, lemongrass, lavender, and basil.
