Join us in the heart of Old City for a Friday night worth remembering at the historic Gas Lamp Hotel on August 7 from 5 to 9 p.m. The evening will be full of art, music, bites & drinks, and the best vibes in Old City!
Midnight Pasta Co. by Natalia Lepore Hagan will provide the bites that evening offering:
• Cold Strozzapreti Caprese Pasta Salad featuring fresh, handmade strozzapreti pasta tossed with local cherry and sun gold tomatoes, torn basil, fresh garlic, mozzarella and Calabrian chili crisp, served with a slice of house-made salty focaccia.
• House Marinated Castelvetrano olives and Giardiniera with sliced pepperoni and garlic focaccia crackers.
Step into Newton's Cellar, our speakeasy lounge, for drinks by Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey. Or head up to The Two Street Club, our gallery that will be showcasing the colorful works of artist Michele Scott, a.k.a. Mr. Scooot, Named Best of Philly Muralist in 2025 by Philadelphia magazine, Mr. Scooot, draws inspiration from his Italian and Scottish roots. His work is a fusion of his heritage, society, and life, exploring themes such as emotional depth, culinary delights, and mental health. His primary mediums include paint, digital tools, as well as 3D art.
Enjoy music by Mac Wondo in the outdoor courtyard. Expect immersive, genre-blending sets rooted in R&B, soulful house, jazz, deep grooves, and beyond. Admission is free, and drinks will be available for purchase. Reservations are encouraged and can be made via EventBrite.
