Halloween on Elfreth's Alley

In partnership with the Independence Historical Trust and the Philadelphia Visitors Center, Elfreth’s Alley welcomes children of all ages to come by our museum for trick or treating in Old City from 11:00am - 1:00pm! For those who are brave enough, we are also presenting EDGAR ALLAN POE’S PHILADELPHIA STORIES from 2pm-4pm. While living in Philadelphia, Poe wrote and published some of his best known and most enduring works. In the garden of Elfreth’s Alley Museum, actors will chill your bones with poems and stories including The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Black Cat and more!
