Japanese American Incarceration Remembrance with Bradford Pearson
On the anniversary of President Frankin D. Roosevelt's signing of Executive Order 9066 (February 19, 1942), Bradford Pearson will lead a panel in conversation about the federal government's incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans during World War II. He will also screen the film Fear, Football and The Theft of Freedom which features former NFL linebacker and Super Bowl champion Scott Fujita as he traces his family to this dark period of U.S. history.
