During this Lunch & Learn, Jennifer Zwilling will introduce three new residents at The Clay Studio: Minah Kim, Josephine Mette Larsen, and Akiko Jackson. Minah Kim is originally from South Korea and describes her work as simultaneously communicating physical gestures of the process of working and thinking about internalized memories. Josephine Larsen has spent the last 10 years living periodically in both the U.S. and Europe. Larsen states the forefront of her practice is attentive to form, shape, line, and space which she believes is fundamental yet instrumental notions from which her hypotheses derive. Akiko Jackson is from Kahuku, a rural north shore community on the island of O'ahu, Hawai’i. Jackson is a multi-disciplinary artist, and she conceptualizes her art practice through research, sculpture, and installation. Join the Zoom call to ask questions and listen in on the discussion!
