Make a Forest Crown, Brooch. or Fascinator

Learn techniques to make silk flowers from recycled textiles and leave class with your own fascinator, floral brooch or flower crown.

Special guest teaching artist Jamie Campbell will demonstrate and guide participants through original construction using recycled textiles, beading, and deconstructed jewely. Jamie created large scale sculptures and instablation work in the gallery at Cherry Street Pier during Phantastic Phibers. She has taught several workshops in Studio 16 including creating bats, light up jellyfish, felting fairiies,, and Delaware River Monsters. She will exhibit an installation in "Weaving on the Waterfront" August 1-31 on the 2nd floor balcony at Cherry Street Pier. She has been exhibiting and collaborating with Bonnie MacAllister since 2012.
