Nancy Bea Miller Solo Exhibition at F.A.N. Gallery

Philly local Nancy Bea Miller has resisted a single theme in her latest one person show of contemporary representational paintings. We see her signature still-lives, to be sure, but it looks like the animal kingdom is encroaching, with many enchanting paintings of animals and birds, as well as some charming yet quirky portraits of the artist’s friends. There’s always depth in Miller’s seemingly simple and straightforward work, and each piece stands up beautifully to multiple viewings.
