People Power Media Fest 2025
People Power Media Fest (PPMFest) is an annual convening for independent media creators seeking inspiration. We gather diverse media makers to participate in workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities in the spirit of community media.
The theme for 2025 – Free Speech, Real Talk – focuses on the crucial need for alternative sources of media that express a diversity of opinions, ideas, and perspectives. PhillyCAM will host a day of hands-on workshops and thought-provoking discussions featuring recognized leaders in the field and new voices, where we’ll explore how freedom of speech makes way for creativity and transformative dialogue. With the rapid rise of digital platforms, AI-driven content, and shifting audience engagement, this year’s event will dive deep into strategies for sustaining impactful media production, building engaged audiences, and advocating for media equity.
